Maran HaRav HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach Zt”vl

The vision came to life in 1994 with the establishment of the first Kollel in the city of Beis Shemesh. HaGaon HaRav Shalom Ber Sorotzkin Shlita realized he must establish a Kollel for the young Avraichim that came to live in the city.

A few months prior to the establishment of the Kollel, Maran HaRav HaGaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach Z”tvl, passed away. The main hall of the Kollel stands as a memorial in his honor. Since his passing,

Yeshivas Ateres Shlomo

The Yeshiva was established to stand as a pillar of fire in the world of Torah. The fundamentals of its past guide it through its present and its future.
It is a greenhouse for learning and Yiras Shamayim for those who wish to dwell in Torah and linger in its Kedusha.
As a descendant to the Yeshiva’s leaders, the Rosh Yeshiva, HaGaon HaRav Shalom Ber Sorotzkin Shlita, had a vision, based on the legacy of the honorable Telz Yeshiva, to grow and develop Talmidei Chachamim. He planted a tree that is nurtured by its past and I”yh, will always continue to blossom.

As We Look Ahead
The magnificent foundations of the royal Torah Empire blooms from its glorifying roots that started at the picturesque city of Telz in Lithuania. Gdolai HaDor paved the way to establish the Yeshiva, and to this day, their influence guides us and enlightens our existence.

His Shita was later adopted by all as the method of learning BeEyun.

The Horrible Destruction
The 20th of Tamuz, 1941, will forever mark a devastating day in Jewish history. On that day, the distinguished Rabonim, the Telz Yeshiva Bachurim and the Telz Jewish community were brutally murdered by the great fire that destroyed most of Europe's Jewish population. These holy Neshamas went high into the heavens as the holy letters of the burning Sifrei Torah escorted them. "Eretz Al Techasi Damam"
